Under 4 Little Kix: The U4 Little Kix program is being offered to introduce younger children to developing physical and social skills through soccer. Consisting of 5 weekly 45 minute sessions, players will be guided through various engaging, imaginative, and fun soccer-based activities by professional staff and high school players. Session’s will be held at the Urbandale Soccer Complex and will run for 5 weeks.. Little Kix participants will receive a USC t-shirt. Participants will need shin guards and a size 3 soccer ball. *Players are not assigned teams and do not play organized games. Parents are required to attend sessions*
U9/U10 Academy The U9/U10 Academy programs are designed to bridge the gap between recreational and select soccer. It will provide players the opportunity to train and play with players of a similar level of ability in a fun but challenging environment. The players will train twice a week for 75 minutes and will play a minimum of 8 games against other club’s Academy teams and possibly tournaments / festivals. Uniforms- All U5-U19 players are responsible for purchasing their own uniform. If you are new to the club, you will need an Urbandale Soccer jersey, black shorts and black socks. Details about how to obtain USC jersey to come this summer. Players will also need shin guards and a ball of the appropriate size ~ see back for details. Questions??? All New Players to the Urbandale Soccer Club MUST provide a copy of State-Issued birth certificate or passport with the registration form. Players MUST be 3 years old by August 1, 2015 to play. No exceptions!

Beginning at the U9 level, approximately 50% of the games may be played at fields other than at the Urbandale Soccer Complex. Beginning at the U11 level, games are generally scheduled on Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Registrations postmarked after December 31st, 2015 are subject to a late fee per the fee schedule shown on registration form. Late, incomplete or unpaid registrations WILL NOT be guaranteed placement.

Players will be contacted by their coach approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the start of the season. There will be no games scheduled Labor Day weekend.

NO REFUNDS are allowed except for players who move out of Urbandale prior to 1st game or if a player is injured prior to or during the first game and cannot complete the season .
4.
Shin guards are mandatory for all practices and games for all ages.
10. Extra Kicks! The JUSC Professional Coaching Staff will hold 4 Extra Kicks sessions each Fall and fall for the U5/U6, U7/U8 & U9/U10’s. These consist of fun, educational soccer activities built to improve the player’s relationship with the ball. There is no extra fee to attend these sessions. Times/Dates to be announced at beginning of season.

No jewelry of any kind is allowed during practices and games (including starter earrings).

Mother’s birth month/day are required to create a permanent player ID.

The Club relies on parent volunteers to coach. Every team MUST have a coach. If no one volunteers to coach, the players will be put on a waiting list.
12. Urbandale Soccer Club is a non-profit organization. Donations are accepted. Monetary contributions further support maintenance and repair expenses on the Complex fields. All contributions are taxdeductible and will be used towards reducing this expense. To donate goods or services call 276-9202.
Volunteers Please place name of parent volunteer below. Urbandale Soccer Club relies on parent volunteers. Each family of recreational players is expected to give 2 hrs of your time per player in your household each season to help out your child’s team or the club. Check out our website at www.urbandalesoccer.org for a description of each area of need. To all U5/U6 Parents: Games are 3v3 at this age level. Roster size is only 5-6 players per team.
