Fall 2016 FPSA Registration Online at http://www.fairviewparksoccer.com/ Open May 15, 2016, through June 26, 2016
Come join a Fairview Park tradition since 1982, with 201 registered players, ranging in age from 8 to 14. Fairview Park Soccer Association, a member of a competitive travel soccer league, strives to promote and teach soccer, develop the fundamental skills of all players, and create an atmosphere where area youth can have fun, foster respect, cultivate camaraderie, and value good sportsmanship while encouraging all players, coaches, officials, and spectators to enjoy the world’s beautiful game.
FPSA teams play an 8 game schedule, with 4 home games and 4 away games. Depending on league bracket, we play area teams from the west, east, and south suburbs of Cleveland. Typically 1-2 games involve travel times up to 45 minutes away while the others are relatively close by. Games are usually Sunday afternoons or evenings. Most teams practice once per week with their individual, board-approved, and league-licensed parent-coaches; additional weekly professional training sessions are provided to all players through FPSA’s Footskills Program. Teams may participate in local pre- or post-season tournaments, as well as winter indoor sessions.
NEW REGISTRANTS: will first create an account and complete online registration at http://www.fairviewparksoccer.com/ After that process is complete, you’ll also need to email/mail/drop off the following: + Online payment or mailed check (must be received by June 26, 2016). + US Soccer/OHTSL Club Form (available in PDF at our website; the form can be scanned and emailed in, or mailed via USPS.) + A player photograph or digital image. + A copy of a birth certificate (mailed or emailed).
Appropriate rostering and team declaration hinges on timely registration. Where indicated online, please state your placement preferences, but understand these are preferences, not guarantees. After registration FPSA’s Board will make final determinations on rosters; however, players will not be rostered until online registration is complete and payment is made. If sending information digitally or through the mail, that needs to be complete by midnight on June 26, 2016.
Navigating the Website: Step 1: Login to (or create) your account at http://www.fairviewparksoccer.com/ Step 2: Check/update the profiles for your player(s), and then click through to see what registration is available to the player(s). Follow that process completely. The system will only make teams available according to strict birth date guidelines. If your player has played outside of his/her birthday designation, the FPSA Board will determine adjustments when the registration process is complete. Step 3: Online, payment may be made via VISA/MasterCard. The fees will populate as will discounts for sibling players. There is a box you may click to indicate payment by check through the mail. Note registration is not complete until that check is received. Confirmation of payment will be made through the website. + $110 for an individual player +$200 for two players/family + $225 for three players/family +$250 maximum/family + Checks should be made out to Fairview Park Soccer Association. A late fee of $25.00 per player will apply if registering after June 26, 2016. If withdrawing after team declaration deadline but before season begins, a refund less $30.00 will apply.
Returning Girls from Spring 2016 need: + Online registration. + Online payment or mailed check (must be received by June 26, 2016). (Note: girls who played in FPSA in spring 2016 DO NOT need new club forms, photos, or birth certificates.)
