The Walking Dead October 23, 2016 After the explosive season finale and its heart stopping cliff hanger, The Walking Dead fans are hungry for another season. As in, flesh eating zombie levels of hungry. After many Twitter debates over which character was killed off, fans are on the edges of their seats to find out if their favorite has survived.“I’m looking forward to seeing who Negan killed in the season finale,” junior Wade Hunter said. “I just don’t want it to be Darryl.”

Doctor Strange November 4, 2016 In Marvel’s newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, famous surgeon Dr. Stephen Strange loses his ability to operate after a terrible accident, but finds new purpose when a mystical being known as the ‘Ancient One’ reveals that Dr. Strange is the new Sorcerer Supreme. “Not a lot of people are familiar with Dr. Strange,” junior Keaton McDonald said. “It will be interesting how the public reacts to this mystery guy.”

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them November 18, 2016 In the newest addition to the Harry Potter universe, which is based on one of Harry Potter’s text books, we meet Newt Scamander: magizoologist. After a Muggle named Jacob loses Newt’s briefcase full of research and releases magical creatures into a 1926 New York, Newt must right his wrongs and get them back. “I was very into the books when I was younger,” junior Bailey Duff said. “From what I’ve read and heard, I think this movie will do the original series justice.”

Entertainment - 15 Moana November 23, 2016 In Disney’s newest edition in it’s ever growing roster of princess movies, meet Moana. Moana is the princess of a small and mystic island in the Pacific Ocean. When her people are in danger, Moana teams up with fabled demigod Maui (Dwayne Johnson) and sets sail to find a mysterious island and save them all. “I’m excited for this new Disney princess,” sophomore Chloe Howard said. “My friend Hayley Hoegemeyer and I love the beach, so we’re going to watch it together.”

Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton Election Day: November 8, 2016 The Republican Candidate: Donald Trump. The 70 year old CEO of The Trump Organization supports deporting all undocumented immigrants/illegal aliens, sending US troops to oil-rich countries, and and getting rid of Obamacare. He is pro-life and believes that climate change is a hoax. The Democratic candidate: Hillary Clinton. The 68 year old wife of former President Bill Clinton supports taxing the upper class, $12 minimum wage, and gun control. She is pro-choice and wants to expand Obamacare. “If I could vote, I’d vote for Donald Trump,” junior Locke Rowley said. “I think he’s going to make America great again, and Hillary’s crooked.”
