Dear Friends, How was your summer? I just got back from visiting my son in Philadelphia. It is a rare treat to have free time for all of us to get together. We had a good time seeing the historic sites, eating at the restaurants in Philly and of course shopping. I visited The Spool (a fabric shop) and The Loop (a yarn shop). Yarn & fabric are my two favorite shopping obsessions. I bought some yummy pink fabric for a dress for my granddaughter and some yarn for the “Drop Stitch Weave” class. By the way this is going to be an interesting class. It’s this Sat. Sept 11th at 9:30 am. Bring a 9x12” swatch and learn how to “jazz up” your knitting. Call for more information. Since I was gone the air has suddenly turned cool. I guess it’s time to put the swimming suit away. It won’t be long before the leaves turn colors and the cider starts showing up at the road side stands. And with a little bit of luck we will enjoy a beautiful autumn season. Are you ready for autumn? Come in to see us at The Needleworks. I have a “ton” of new fabric and yarn coming in over the next few months, including some cute Halloween fabrics.
