It is our hope that, among these four opportunities, you and your family
will find ways in which you feel called
to support Wheaton Academy.
FAMILIES CAN FINANCIALLY SUPPORT WHEATON ACADEMY
Many families make a significant financial sacrifice to provide a Wheaton Academy education for their children. While tuition covers the cost of a student’s core experience here at WA, it does not cover any of the following: • Campus improvements • Academic, athletic, fine arts, or faculty enhancements • Need-based financial aid In order to make these essential components of our school possible, we rely on financial gifts from our school family – parents, alumni, and friends. We ask that you, as a current WA family, prayerfully consider what place Wheaton Academy will have in your stewardship planning for the coming year. Because your family benefits directly from our school’s work and mission, we believe that WA is a ministry worthy of a portion of our current parents’ charitable giving. In order to support our mission but not overwhelm our supporters with financial requests, we have limited our fundraising vehicles to just a few opportunities.

THE ANNUAL FUND is the fundraising effort Wheaton Academy undertakes each year to support need-based scholarships and financial aid for one-third of our student body. This year, we will have a targeted month-long campaign (from October 24 through November 18) called Four Weeks, Four Ways, For Them, For Him during which we will ask current WA parents to prayerfully consider supporting this fund. Donations to the Annual Fund can be given year-round as well. Our goal is to see each current WA family participate in the Annual Fund at a level to which they feel God calls them.

THE ATHLETICS BOOSTER CLUB is a fun and important way to support our athletic teams. You can sign up online at athletics.wheatonacademy.org to participate at the $50, $100, or $500 level. It would be wonderful to see 100 percent Booster membership among families with students benefiting from our athletic programs.

We host two golf outings each year. The TODD BEAMER BENEFIT GOLF OUTING takes place each fall and the ALUMNI & FRIENDS SCRAMBLE is held each spring. Plan to bring along friends and acquaintances who love to golf, want to support a worthy cause, and/or would like to learn more about Wheaton Academy.

TIMESHARES FOR TEACHERS is an opportunity for families to give time at a vacation home, or use of airline miles and/or timeshare weeks to allow our Living Curriculum Teachers to enjoy a summer vacation that they might otherwise not be able to afford. Those interested in this unique opportunity can fill out an online form at wheatonacademy.org (under “Support WA”).
