Family Camping Trip
St. John Family and Friends Camping Trip June 5th – 7th 2015 Who:
Everyone is welcome! You’re all part of our church family (single or married, kids or no kids, members or not, we just hope everyone will join us for the pitch in and worship on Saturday.)
What:
Family and friends camp out weekend, and /or Day Trip and Pitch In, on Sat. June 6th at 11:00 a.m.
Where:
Starve Hollow State Recreation Area 4345 S. 275 W., Vallonia, IN 47281
(1.5 hours south of Indianapolis) When:
June 5th – 7th (Friday – Sunday)
Why:
We bring families together to strengthen bonds and help build new ones. If you don’t camp, join us on Sat. beginning at 11 a.m. There will be a camp friendly worship service followed by a pitch-in. Saturday afternoon we plan some group games, like volleyball, corn hole, and a trip to the local farm market.

Cost:
$26 per night for a site with electricity $5 parking if you come on Saturday.
Reservation Information: Go to their new website at www.camp.in.gov and look up Starve Hollow then click on the green button bar that says Date Range Availability or call 1-866-622-6746. Sites: We recommend electric sites (South) 1 - 23 or 65 - 90. The playground is very close for the kids, and the bathhouse is an easy walk - for full hook up use 204 – 212. Beautiful air conditioned cabins are available also if you’re interested. Look: There is a beach for swimming, hiking and biking trails, boat rental, fishing, kids playgrounds, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, and some beautiful views. Don’t forget the corn hole tournament!
