Family Connection Group Flyer

The Family Connection The Family Connection is a support group for spouses, parents, siblings and other caregivers, seeking to better cope with stresses created by the symptoms/behaviors of family members who are diagnosed with a mental illness. Supporting and caring for a family member who has symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety disorders or more, can cause significant strain on the rest of the family. Please let us help, because we know that caregivers need support too. We learn about the various types of mental illnesses, medications, empathy, healthy boundaries versus enabling, stigma and talk about possible ways to respond to various behaviors of the family member. Registration is required for the first time you attend one of our group sessions. So please call the Southwest Clinic at 616.222.3700 to RSVP or get more information.
