Farm Land Sale West-Con will be selling approximately 49.7 acres in the SE ¼ of section 7 in Grant Center Township in Grant County. Written bid with cashier’s check for $20,000.00 must be into Watson Law Office by noon March 18th. Bid opening and sale will take place at Watson Law Office on March 19th at 1:30 pm. Western Consolidated Cooperative (West-Con) will offer for sale farmland located in Grant Center Township, Grant County, South Dakota, real property legally described as follows: Approximately 49.72 acres located in the South Half of the Southeast Quarter (S ½ SE ¼) of Section Seven (7), Township One Hundred Twenty (120) North, Range Forty-nine (49) West of the 5th P.M., located in Grant County, South Dakota, (a preliminary plat designated as Lot 1, West-Con Subdivision is in the process of approval) Sealed bids will be accepted until 12:01 p.m. on March 18, 2015, and must be accompanied by a cashier’s check in the amount of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) payable to Watson Trust Account. Bids will be opened on March 19, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. and bidders shall be allowed to raise their bids orally until such time as the parcel is sold. The successful bidder will be required to sign a purchase agreement containing the terms of the sale and the cashier’s check that accompanies the bid will be used as earnest money. The terms of the sale will be cash upon delivery of the deed. The closing shall take place within thirty (30) days of date of sale. Real estate taxes due and payable in 2015 have been paid. Real estate taxes due and payable in 2016 shall be paid by Buyer. Possession shall be granted to Buyer on the day of closing. ** This ground has been fall fertilized with a 100-75-50-15 Sulfur – 5 Zinc blend. Buyer will need to reimburse West-Con, at closing, $6,461.00 for this fall applied fertilizer.
