Classification: Part Time (Less than 30 hours/week) Description: Looking for an individual on a part time basis to work outside assisting with agronomy and grain operations. Primary duties would include; maintaining good customer relations, operating equipment, receiving and transferring grain, transporting fertilizer and agricultural pesticides, delivering agronomy products. Duties/Responsibilities: Maintain safe work environment (Included, but not limited to) Unloading grain and loading trucks Operate semi & straight trucks Operate/maintain variety of equipment Agriculture application equipment Grain handling equipment Anhydrous equipment Handle UAN liquid fertilizer, dry fertilizer, and anhydrous ammonia General work around the facility Regular and periodic housekeeping Education/Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Requirements: Must be 18 or older to apply Other Requirements & Must be able to pass related drug test Licenses: Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb, ladders, stairs & bins Ability to work in dusty and adverse weather conditions and temperatures Experience around agricultural equipment or other large machinery preferred Class A Commercial Driver License Endorsements Tank HazMat Have or able to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Handler’s License Please visit the Farmers Elevator office or our website Employment page at www.farmerseande.com/employment for more information.
