Today’s Fashion Centre is a stand-out destination—adding long-overdue clarity about Pentagon City’s commercial balance. Still home to 170 shops and restaurants, Fashion Centre now offers group travel incentives, a Ritz-Carlton luxury hotel, and—coming soon—an activated streetscape thanks to new street-facing shops. As part of the interior renovation, a second scenic glass elevator serves to decongest the escalators, which have been updated in expectation that they will remain the most popular way to move between floors. In place of brass and white railings is plexiglass with stainless steel hardware— foreshadowing the expansion: a two-story, glass-and-metal addition.
