Objec3ve • Fawry is the first and largest electronic bill payment service in egypt • Unfortunately this kind of service in Egypt did not get much understanding over the years and people did not know how simple it is to pay their bills through this service • Fawry needed to raise awareness about the service and it’s ease of use by crea3ng some kind of promo3on • Fawry needed to generate traffic on their facebook page to expand their fan base.
Brainstorming •
The agency targeted the easiest audience (people who are already ac3ve online) because online is the most powerful tool to circulate a message.

Everybody likes winning and since they will pay their bills anyway, they might as well get something out of it.

We came up with an idea for an online compe33on that would create a buzz and urge people to go try the service so that they understand how easy it is.

The compe33on was very simple : pay your TE Data bill through Fawry service Take a CRAZY picture with the reciept Post it on the app Get the biggest number of facebook ‘likes’ on the picture

Result • The compe33on was a success as a lot of people went to try the service and understood how easy it was • The fan page gained a lot of fans in a very short period because people had to invite other people to the compe33on thus ‘liking’ the Fawry fan page • There was a lot of engagement on Fawry’s fan page as people started asking about the service and where it could be found and what other bills could be paid through the service
