FC York Website Registration This document is intended to provide a general overview of the FC York website registration process. This guide will explain how to register to the FC York website as a new user (presumably a parent or guardian) as well as registering new participants for an FC York Soccer program. Parent/Guardian Registration On this first screen, you will need to enter the primary contact information for the parent or guardian. You will also need to choose a user name and password which will be used to access your account.
Parent/Guardian Registration On this screen, you will need to enter the primary contact's address and telephone contact information. You can also add a secondary contact (Optional)
Parent/Guardian Registration At the top of the contact address information, you will see the text below. If you are registering as a parent, and will also need to register your player participant(s). They registration process will automatically prompt you to complete this step. If you are registering as a non/parent volunteer (i.e. assistant coach, or other club volunteer), you may cancel the participant registration by clicking
Registration Confirmation This is a sample email confirmation that is sent upon a successful registration.
Participant Registration On this screen, you will need to enter the participant's contact information. If you need to register more than one participant, you may do so by clicking After completing the participant registration fields. When you have finished adding all required participants, click
Program Selection On this screen, you will need to select the program for which you would like to register your participant(s). To select the program, click the check box next to the program name for each participant and click Next. Only programs for which the participant is eligible will be available to select. The price listed for each program represents the tryout fee for that program.
Shopping Cart On this screen, you will need to presented a summary of you program selections. You may remove programs by clicking on the check box under Remove and then click Update Cart You will see a subtotal of your combined tryout fees. Once you are satisfied with your cart click Next
Participant Information On this screen you will need to enter the specific registration information FC York requires for each player.
Volunteer Information On this screen, you will may select a volunteer role for any of the available programs.
Volunteer Information On this screen you will need to verify/update the contact and additional information for the volunteer.
Checkout On this screen you will be presented with a summary of your registration along with options to provide payment for the program tryout fees. (See next page in the registration guide for further instructions on this section)
Checkout … continued Enter the billing address information associated with the credit card used for payment. (See next page in the registration guide for further instructions on this section)
Checkout … continued Enter the credit card information which will be used to process the registration payment. (See next page in the registration guide for further instructions on this section)
Checkout … continued Please take a minute to read the registration terms. All payments are made to Blue Sombrero which is the hosting company for the website. Fees are then transferred to FC York. At no time does FC York have access to credit card information used in this system. To submit your order, check the “I agree to the above terms and conditions” and click
Checkout … continued At this time, you will be prompted for one last confirmation of the fees that will be charged to your credit card. If there is a mistake, click the X on the top right of the confirmation box. Otherwise click Complete Payment to proceed.
Order Confirmation (Part 1) On this screen you will be presented with an order confirmation along with important details about tryouts. You may print this page for your records. The registration system will also email a registration confirmation (see next page for sample email)
Order Confirmation (Part 2) This is a sample email confirmation that is sent upon a successful program registration. Any required forms or other documents will be attached to this confirmation email.
Your Account Once you are complete with the registration process, you will be redirected to your Account page. For more information on how to manage your account, view the Manage My Account guide under the Documents heading on the website.
