Type
INTENDED USE — Use for parking lots, streets and surrounding areas. CONSTRUCTION — Heavy-gauge, formed aluminum housing. Integral structural support plate for mounting arm and electrical components ensures rigidity and strength. Hinged aluminum door frame incorporates stainless steel hardware. Continuous silicone gasketing surrounds lens for weather-tight seal. Thermal shock-resistant, tempered drop glass lens.
Round Area Lighting
Standard finish is dark bronze electrostatically applied powder paint. Optional linear embossed accent reveal is available.
KVR1
OPTICS — Reflector is non-rotatable. Discharge vessel/lamp: glass bulb that contains a mixture of lowpressure mercury vapor and inert buffer gas. ELECTRICAL — High-frequency generator supplies high-frequency power to the discharge vessel (lamp), to initiate and maintain a gas discharge for a rated 100,000 hours of life. The current travels through coils on the power coupler in the QL system to create the magnetic (inductive) field.
INDUCTION 55W and 85W 10' to 20' Mounting
Power coupler: Induction coil which transfers energy from the generator to the discharge vessel. Discharge vessel: glass bulb which contains a mixture of low-pressure mercury vapor and inert buffer gas. The wall of the discharge vessel is coated with a fluorescent powder which produces light at 3000K color and 80+ CRI. INSTALLATION — Arms are available for use with various poles, wall mounts and unique mounting configurations. 4" aluminum fitter for round open-top pole also is available. LISTINGS — Listed and labeled to UL standards for ambient temperatures ranging from -40° to 25°C and for wet locations. Listed and labeled to CSA standards (see Options). NOM Certified (see Options).
