Guests Present none Approval of Minutes A motion was made and seconded to approve the minutes for the January 20th meeting. The motion CARRIED. Treasurer Report no reports to review Concession Report nothing to report Fundraising/Advertisement nothing to report Cheerleading nothing to report Football meetings are in process to plan 2016 season with the league and other parks.
Soccer nearly 300 registrations have been received. Opening week is 1st week of April. Commissioner Amy Hoffner provided the 2016 Soccer budget for review. A motion was made and seconded to approve the budget. The motion CARRIED. Basketball Rec- games in process. Travel- nothing reported Baseball Rec- over 200 registrations have been received to date. There are about 7-8 teams in 8u, 6-7 teams in 10u, 4-5 teams in 12u, and 4-5 teams in 15u. Coaches are being established. Important dates: TryoutsFeb 19-20, Coach’s certification Feb 25, NHS clinic Feb 27, Opening Day Mar 12. Paul Brown has been selected as co-commissioner by commissioner Daren Thomas. . Fall Ball- nothing to report Travel- currently two teams 12u & 13u, other possible teams are having tryouts. T-Ball-Still accepting registrations until March 4th. Evaluations are March 5th Softball Softball evaluations were Feb 14th. Looks like there will be 2 teams in each age group. Adult Women’s Softball nothing to report. Mens Basketball nothing to report Old Business 1. Stacy Wright to follow back up with county on Football Field replacement 2. Football Scoreboard is in. need to schedule install. New Business 1. Daren Thomas shared Dick’s Sporting Goods sponsorship coupons with all spring sports. 2. A motion was made and seconded to approve Brandi Holbrook as the new BOD Treasurer. The motion CARRIED.
