Relay for Life Garage Sale…April 29 Donations are being accepted Now We are planning a garage sale in April to raise money for our team. We are accepting donations starting in February. Please ask your friends & neighbors if they have items to donate. We are looking for furniture, sporting goods, household items, baby things etc. We cannot accept any clothing items or old TVs or computer monitors. We will have a room set aside for us in The Bridge to store our items and our sale will be on a Saturday (set up the night before) at The Bridge - so rain or shine! If you would like to bake some goodies we can have a baked goods table too. Also, if you have a green thumb and want to have some plants ready for sale that would be great!

NEICSC has gone through some dramatic changes in the last 8 years. From a yearly inspection of the kitchen by the Blackhawk County Health Department to a new deep well and a new waste water treatment system. These were needed to keep the camp open. In moving the camp forward into the future, Board of Trustees has approved a 5-year, 3 phase plan for the construction of a new complex. The first phase is a new dorm. This dorm will replace the current boy’s dorm with a heated and air-conditioned, year-round dorm, which will be capable of housing both boys and girls separately. The dorm will be built with a new storm shelter below it, which will also be future classrooms. The vision is to have the camp available for year-round use. The new dorm is the first step in making that vision a reality. The cost of the project is estimated at $275,000-$305.000 Dorm building: $56,500 Plumbing: $55,000 (includes heating and air conditioning) Concrete: $155,000 Excavation: $5,500 Engineering: $3,000 Labor: $30,000 (If volunteer labor not used to finish the building) Your gift will contribute to the future of NEICSC and its ministry to the youth of the church and to the body of Christ as a whole:  Through meaningful and age appropriate teaching.  Through teachers who are Followers of Jesus with a heart for God and His mission.  Through quality facilities and beautiful surroundings. You can give by mailing a check to : Northeast Iowa Christian Service Camp 19268 Forest Ave, Dumont, IA 50625 Or give by going online at neicsc.org. The current plan to raise the capital necessary for the building project is through a One-time gift or a pledge given over two years.

No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. ~1 John 4:12
