______________________________________________________________________ Fever and Vomiting Policy Fever 100 or above (student may not return to school for 24 hours from last temperature of 100 or above without the use of fever reducing medications such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen. Vomiting: Student may not return to school for 24 hours from the last episode of vomiting. REMINDER: Students, if you are absent due to illness, you are responsible for getting all missed work from your teachers, completing it, and turning it in. STUDENTS: If you are late getting to school because of the train, your parents need to contact the office and the tardy will be excused. COUNSELOR’S CORNER: ● ●
ACT Testing for the Junior Class will be March 7, 2018 Please continue to diligently check emails from Mrs. Smith. Lots of scholarships, announcements and important information coming through. The February Friends yearbook sale will begin next Monday and go through Feb. 28. You may buy a yearbook for $49 with personalization during this sale. After the sale, yearbooks with personalization will be $52.00 and without will be $50 until March 15. SENIOR YEARBOOK NEWS: Senior yearbook pages should be paid in full by Feb. 10. Senior portraits need to be chosen by Feb. 17. Please email the student choice to [email protected].
This is the last week for our annual fundraiser for the science club! We are selling Orange Crush sodas with a special message from you to the person you have a “CRUSH” on. Crush’s can be sent to any MC staff or student. Crush form
ATTENTION PARENTS AND STUDENTS! We need new ideas for the next Panther Pride 5K! A meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 27th at 5:30 in the High School Commons to discuss the next race. This race is a joint effort between the Elementary, Middle School and High School PPO groups. The income generated from the race is split between the 3 groups. For High School, this money is used to fund PPO awarded Senior Scholarships, Year End Awards and Award Ceremony. We encourage everyone, students and parents, to attend to help come up with new ideas for the next race!
Freshmen Dues announcements will be going out the second week of February. All freshmen will need to bring $10 (cash or check) to Mrs. Cornell. Once you have paid, she will mark your name off of the list. These dues will go towards your senior prom. The more money you bring in your freshman and sophomore years, the less fundraising you'll have to do your junior year in order to have an awesome school prom! Please make checks out to Magnet Cove School District.
