Proposed agenda items for FedEx Ground EBC visit – October 2016
IoT (Internet of Things) – Edge Computing Big Data & Analytics
3
Next-gen thinking … The rise of the IoT is giving businesses a choice: innovate, or be left behind. But to take full advantage of the power of the IoT, you need to integrate heterogeneous technologies across multiple environments. Apps and data need to deliver value instantly and continuously. The trick is finding the right mix of private cloud, public cloud and traditional IT. The transition to modern architecture can now be achieved through the use of software-defined technologies on advanced server platforms. The common goal of DevOps is to remove friction, risk, and other constraints to enable faster, more successful application production rollouts, as often and as rapidly as the business requires.
