ANNE ROUNCE HEAD FIELD HOCKEY COACH - MERRIMACK COLLEGE Anne Rounce, a 2007 Merrimack graduate, recently completed her fifth season as head coach with another historic campaign. The Warriors posted a 174 overall record last fall and clinched their second consecutive Northeast-10 Conference Regular Season crown, as well as a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Final Four. Rounce was recognized as the 2011 NFHCA Division II Field Hockey Coach of the Year along with the NE-10 Coach of the Year award. In Rounce’s coaching tenure, she has coached seven All Americans, one NE-10 Player of the Year, two NE-10 Goalkeepers of the Year, one NE-10 Co-Rookie of the Year, 19 All-Conference Selections, 11 All-Rookie selections and numerous athletes who have earned the NFHCA Academic Award.

Equipment: Attendees should bring necessary practice gear, including stick, goggles, mouth guard, shinguards and waterbottle. Goaltenders should bring their own equipment. Staff: The girls will receive direct teaching from the Merrimack College field hockey coaching staff, along with members of the Warrior team, who play in the highly competitive Northeast-10 Conference. Goal: The goal of the clinic is to provide intensive instruction on the fundamentals and techniques that lend itself to a successful field hockey player by concentrating on offensive and defensive skills, and applying them in real game situations.
