Ordering Directions Standa.d Catalog Numbers are listed on the following pages for definite purpose contactors. Coil letter code must be added from coil selection tables. Standard Catalog Numbers include bindingscrew terminals with quick connects on 20- thru 35-Ampere devices; box-lug terminals with quick connects on 40- thru 90-Ampere forms (except 40-Ampere, CR353C compact design which has binding-head screw terminals with quick connects). Catalog Numbers for contactors represent standard terminal markings—line (L) markings at top; load (T) markings at bottom. Factory modifications to these standard Catalog Numbers are available. Order by complete Catalog Number. Example: for a 40-Ampere, 3-pole contactor with 110-120-Volt coil, select CR353AD3BA1. Typical Open-Type, Definite-Purpose Contactors Features • Universal mounting plates with multiple holes make them easy to interchange with other manufacturer's devices. • Bold, easy-to-read terminal markings simplify installation and field maintenance. • Straight-through wiring speeds installation. • Standard combination screw and quick-connect power and coil terminals simplify connections. • Class B coil insulation is standard on devices rated up through 60 Amperes. • Precision, self-aligning magnets add to quiet, dependable operation. • Inspection of durable, double-break contacts is performed easily without removal of contactor. • Housing design offers high arc tracking resistance and dielectric strength. • Corrosion-resistant materials used throughout. • Arc confining cover (except CR353C compact forms) protects against contaminants. • Contacts and coils (except for CR353C compact design) are field replaceable.
