Goal Statement
Metric (What would success look like?) Collaborate with ASABE, ISO, AEF FOWG participants present updates and results to these for alignment on FOWG and organizations. SPADE project output is submitted for inclusion into SPADE project outcomes. the draft ISO standards update. Draft proposal of a coded list for Finalized and published coded list of Operation Techniques. Each ISO Operation Techniques term in the list will also include a definition to be submitted to the Glossary of Terms Working Group. Provide input to Glossary of Terms Finalized and published terms and definitions on the Glossary of for Field Operations Terms Wiki Develop an implementation guideline for using an ESRI Shapefile in a Prescription (if this item does not get in the SPADE II backlog for a Data Conversion Toolbox plugin) Get a good definition of SPADEIII and/or does it move into a direction to maintain and support the adoption of standards.

Publish a word document describing the recommended Revised to include implementation for the geometry, attributes and metadata included GeoJSON. in an ESRI Shapefile used in agronomic prescription. Include a Draft for Review sample data set (.shp, .dbf, .shx, .prj, .xml) Consider including coding data in .xml, .shp for geometry, .dbf for attributes. Maintain and support the results of SPADE I and SPADE II adoption Draft Started of standards. How are standards implemented and tested? Shapefile and GeoJSON Guidelines • Document describes an implementation guideline for

operation (planted crops, harvested crops, etc.) • Prescription Rx: Areas of land with specific application instructions (Prescription) • Field Boundary: Areas of land that identify a field (boundary)
• Guidelines used the following existing formats: • ESRI Shapefile • GeoJSON format

SPADE 3 Charter • Properly close SPADE 2 before any SPADE 3 activities begin • Communicate results and make the products/artifacts publically available • Label system on project pages to tag wiki pages as worthy for publication • Then to Standards and Guidelines for publication • Update the Glossary of Terms (may need review) • Update ADAPT (in progress) • DDIs from SPADE 2 submitted back to ISO. Communication process:
• Standards and Guidelines publication (S&G Committee) • Submit back up to ISO & AEF • Spade Project Board approves the project

FOWG Next Steps • As projects are charted, most FOWG participants are primarily
engaged in SPADE • FOWG in place for continuity contents/new requirements (ISO/AEF/ASABE liaisons) • Could some of this happen out of ADAPT? • ADAPT will be the consumer of the coded data/lists and data model,
could establish working groups for: • ISO Operations List - NRCS codings and reference to ISO Operations would
need to be maintained • Crop Type – USDA CVT alignment
