In the 3 boxes provided, sketch ideas for your final piece. Your designs/ ideas must be in colour and labelled with the techniques and fabrics you might use.
MAKING You will be unable to make a quality final piece if you have not planned and completed appropriate research. I can not tell you what fabric to use, what colours or techniques. This must come from your own research. I can, of course, help and advise throughout your research and planning stages. If you have any questions remember to ask me.

Decide what you are going to make.

Start to research existing product i.e. cushions, hanging, clothes, purses etc (2 pages in sketchbook)

Do some drawings from you research and start to make some notes about the things you like/ don’t like. (4 small drawings)

Use your own research and develop into design ideas. (At least 3 pages). Make notes about your ideas.

Create e your own fabric samples . These samples must be the techniques you are going to use on your final piece

Making :- Get making

Refining. Ensure you final piece is of a good standard.
Catch up sessions are available : Every day
Room 60 is available everyday for year 11 students during lunch and after college hours. These sessions allow students to use the facilities and work on targets at their own pace.

After Rm These sessions are for those college 60 students wishing to discuss their work in detail with Mrs Chapman or those students needing to catch up.
