Findlay Soccer Club Scrip Fundraiser for Findlay Soccer Club Members Earn money to offset your soccer fees! We are pleased to continue offering a fundraising program designed to help our member families offset their soccer player’s fees and also earn a small portion for Findlay Soccer Club. It’s called “Scrip”, and it’s the fundraising program that works while you shop. Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, Scrip is gift certificates/cards from national and local retailers. They are the same gift certificates/cards that you would buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including Walmart, Speedway, TJMaxx, Domino’s, Game Stop, Marathon and many, many others. You are probably asking yourself how these stores can help us with fundraising. It’s simple – Scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our organization at a discount. FSC member families like yours (as well as your extended family and friends), can buy certificates/cards for full face value, redeem them for full face value, and your player’s soccer fees account is credited with the majority of that discount (FSC will receive 10% of the overall discount to help offset operating costs). The Scrip program is exciting because everyone wins: The retailer gets cash up front and repeat business… You get a powerful fundraising alternative to help offset soccer fees that involves no selling… Your family is able to offset soccer fees and FSC is able to offset operating costs… The best part of Scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. Your soccer player’s soccer fees account is credited with the discounts earned from purchasing gift cards without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars with Scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program! And Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline, hotels/vacations, and even dining out.
How do I get started ordering and reducing my player’s soccer fees?
Go to www.ShopWithScrip.com to create an account. Follow the five simple steps (please be sure to include your soccer player’s name in the “student name” section so we credit the correct account) and click “I accept”. Enter your enrollment code of AAEC5F3C2L491 (this is specific to Findlay Soccer Club). You can place your order online and pay online too, by setting up a PrestoPay account, which will deduct your total order from your checking account. The fee to order through PrestoPay is only $.15 per order! A paper order form is also available on the ShopwithScrip.com website, which can be downloaded and completed. (Please note: rebate percentages do change from time to time so it is important to download a current form rather than reusing an older one). This form along with correct payment (checks only made payable to Findlay Soccer Club) should be submitted to the FSC Scrip Coordinator by the deadline.

A few items to note:
Orders must be received by deadline otherwise they will be held until the next order date. Each family that has submitted an order will pay a portion of the shipping fee. The gift cards odered will be shipped to the FSC Scrip Coordinator address via FedEx for distribution and that standard shipping fee is $7.75 for the entire order. For example, if there are orders placed for 10 families, each of those 10 families’ accounts will show a $.78 deduction for the shipping fee. If you order and then pay through PrestoPay, the total cost of your order is immedately deducted from your checking/savings account even if the order deadline is not for a few more days. FSC and Scrip Coordinator will not be responsible for lost Scrip cards once the order is distribued by the coordinator. Reimbursement of the “credit” cannot exceed the original soccer fee amount. For example, if your player’s fees are $225 for fall and $225 for spring seasons and you earn $460 in “credit”, the most you could receive is $450. The remaining $10 will be kept by the club as part of the fundraiser. Scrip orders will be tracked by the Coordinator. Information on your player’s account can be otained at any time by contacting the FSC Scrip Coordinator via email at: [email protected]. If you choose to pay for your order by check, your order and payment must be received no later than 9 PM on the deadline date (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE TO A SUNDAY DEADLINE). Checks can be dropped off at 1617 S. Main St., Findlay in the mail slot by the front door. PrestoPay orders also easily allow you to place ScripNow! and Reload orders which eliminate the need for you to wait for a scheduled Scrip order and they do not have any shipping cost! Many families have taken advantage of this with reloading gift cards (the card must be purchased intially through the Scrip program) or buying e-gift cards for many gas stations, restaurants, hotels, clothing stores, etc.!
