Finneytown Falcons Youth Football COACHES AGREEMENT I, ____________________________, accept the assignment and responsibility as a coach in the Finneytown Falcons youth Football Program. As such I agree to uphold the constitution, By-Laws and the terms of the Coaches Agreement and code of conduct. To wit: Head Coaches are specifically responsible for the actions and conduct of all Assistant Coaches, parent volunteer, Players and parents at all scheduled practices/games. All Coaches, will at all times by personal actions, present an example of gentlemanly behavior. All Coaches will not encourage, or cause to be encouraged, any overt or extreme actions caused by parents/players at Practices or Games. Assistant Coaches shall serve at the discretion of the Head Coach. They may be removed by the Head Coach or as directed by FFYA Sports Director. Head Coaches may be removed by FFYA Sports Director or by action of FFYA Executive Board. Violation of the Constitution, By-Laws, or Coaches Agreement and Code of Conduct shall be grounds for dismissal. Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches must attend the annual Coaches meeting for the review of the Constitution, By-Laws, Code of Conduct and Coaches Agreement. The Head Coach or his Assistant Head Coach must be present at all Practices/Games. No Parent Volunteer can hold a practice/game without Head Coach/Assistant present. A Head Coach may remove a player/parent from his team for misconduct, or failure to abide by and/or support the rules of his team or rules of the Organization. Within 24 hours of such removal, the Head Coach must file a written notice of removal with FFYA Sports Director. The Executive Board of FFYA will, if necessary, meet for the purpose of upholding the removal. The Executive Board action will reflect concern for the good of the player, Coach, as well as the Organization. All Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches must summit a background check to FFYA Sports Director and meet the policies set forth by FFYA Sports Director and recommendations by Protect Youth Sports. All Head Coaches will encourage their team member/parents to support the fundraising programs and encourage parents to volunteer to work at least one home game. EACH TEAM, has a 1 ½ hour scheduled time to work concession stand/Grounds. If your parents are not willing to work their scheduled times, the expectation will be that the coaching staff will work designated teams time. In case of FFYA Executive Board action against a coach, or Parent/Player, the following procedure will apply: · · · · ·
The coach and the complainant will appear before the Executive Board. Each party will be afforded the opportunity to present their side of the case. The Executive Board will then vote in close session. Both parties will then be called back and advised of the decision. Penalties could range from reprimand to dismissal.

Finneytown Falcons Youth Football CODE OF CONDUCT With the respect to the essential fact that we are all adults dealing with young children, we are constantly under public scrutiny. We shall strive to present ourselves to all who observe us, the best possible image at all times. The code of conduct is directed toward our personal image, and shall apply to all levels of involvement with Finneytown Falcon Youth Athletics Inc. Including the Executive Board, Team Members and Coaches, in whatever category.
1. The physical abuse of any player by any coach is specifically forbidden. This includes, but not limited to, Hitting, Slapping, Kicking, Grabbing or jerking a player’s facemask, Mental Abuse of any kind with the intent to humiliate or embarrassed a child of any program in conjunction with Finneytown Falcon Youth Athletics Inc. 2. Profanity or obscenities, in whatever form is specifically forbidden. 3. Any extreme or unusual practice or drills that could be viewed as harmful is not allowed. 4. Any display of poor sportsmanship, such as aggressive or profane abuse directed towards any officials, opposing teams coaches or players, fans in the stands, from the sidelines or after a game is forbidden. 5. With the regards of good sportsmanship, it is neither the intent of, nor the spirit of the organization to purposely humiliate children to feed a coaches ego. Therefore, any coach who intentionally runs up an unnecessarily score (by leaving in there starter), will be called for explanation, and could be suspended or removed. 6. Any coach found telling a child, too purposely hurt another child, will be immediately removed for coaching staff. 7. Coaches shall exercise great judgment in all cases of injury or possible injury. Any player removed for the game due to any head/concussion relayed injury cannot return to Game or Practice without a doctor release slip. If a player is down the coach should determine the nature and extent of the injury before removing the player. The code of conduct is not written with the intent to limit or restrict a coach’s desire or ability to teach and lead the youth he/she is working with. Rather, it is to enable us all to present a public posture that is above reproach or outside criticism. I have read and understand the above agreement. I pledge to uphold all rules and regulations associated with The Finneytown Falcon Youth Athletics Inc.
