Prayer Time Together Things to Think and Talk About Jesus was God’s Son, so you’d think He’d be supersmart and superstrong. But Jesus was also a person, just like you. Maybe he had freckles or hair that stuck up in funny places. Maybe he was shy or liked to read. We don’t know much about Jesus’ life as a child. But we do know He had to listen to his parents, learn how to get along with others, and do all the other things kids have to do. If you feel alone sometimes, remember that Jesus knows what it’s like to be a kid. After all, He was young once too.

Bible Verse “Jesus became wise, and He grew strong. God was pleased with him and so were the people.” Luke 2:52CEV

Prayer Dear God, Thank you for sending Jesus. It’s good to remember that He was young like me for a while. He knows what it’s like to be a child. Amen (From Blessings Every Day, Barnhill, Tyndale House Publishers, 2001.)
