Homework Expectations
Your child will continue reading the fluency passages and graphing their progress each night.
Students should be reading 3 times a night for at least 15 minutes.
The other 2 nights should be spent practicing math skills.
You will receive a homework packet to put in your child’s homework binder. These materials are exactly what you are going to use tonight to play math games with your child. These games are designed to target specific math skills we are learning in class.
There will be other ways to do the math homework on those nights as well; they will be printed on the back of the log.
The Homework Log will stay in your child’s blue folder like always.
