Fitness Center Equipment Overview

Fitness Center Orientations To ensure safe use of the machines, we are offering multiple orientation sessions per week. We highly recommended you attend these sessions to gain a full understanding of the equipment. Please call or visit the Fitness Center for the orientation schedule.

The following sessions are available: “Cardio Cool” Orientation (55-minutes) A review of the proper usage and how to maximize all of the amazing features of the cardiovascular machines, including treadmills, upright & recumbent bikes, StepMill & Expresso bikes.

Cybex Selectorized Strength (55-minutes) A basic understanding of how to safely change weight stacks, and adjust seat heights and a review of the movements of all Cybex selectorized machines. *Please note: Due to the size of orientation sessions, individualized adjustments may not be demonstrated, however, you will learn how to determine your proper fit on each machine.

Unplugged (55-minutes) A review of the free-weight areas, small equipment, Kinesis Trainers, TRX and other functional training areas of the Fitness Center.

Power Plate First Impression (45-minutes) This session will ensure you have no contra-indications for use of the machine and certify you to use the machine on your own. Individuals will not be allowed to use the PowerPlate without first becoming certified by a fitness trainer.

Cybex 770R Recumbent Bike • Cybex 770C Upright Bike Ride outside or train for the Tour de France! This is the most unique bike in the industry with three modes of operation and nine workouts with 21 levels. It provides the lowest starting level and the highest resistance possible compared to any other bike on the market. Whether you are looking for a Sunday afternoon bike ride or Olympic training, this bike will sure to provide the comfort and ride you are seeking! Available with upright or recumbent seating.

Cybex 770AT Arc Trainer This total body cross trainer offers a broad incline and resistance ranges which means it is three machines in one! At the lower incline levels, the “glide” is like a cross-country skier; in the mid-range levels, the motion is a “stride;” and at its peaks, it offers the “climb” of a stepper or climber. The patented arc pattern of motion allows your hip and knee to move synchronously while your foot stays under your knee in order to reduce joint pains and offer a more comfortable workout!

Expresso Bikes Finally, a cardio experience that’s so fun and engaging, it will beckon you back for more! This futuristic bike allows you to shift along virtual courses and engage in competitive rides! It’s cardio, but so much cooler!

Stairmaster StepMill 5 For nearly 30 years, the StairMaster StepMill machines have been helping people get the most of their workouts by providing a superior combination of cardio and strength training in one machine. Enjoy a workout with the latest and greatest version of the machine!

Cybex Selectorized Machines The next generation, patented technologies of Cybex will provide you with more comfort and improved range of motions when exercising.

Power Plate Power Plate, the global leader in Whole Body Vibration fitness equipment, has leveraged its technology to offer an advanced full-body training solution. Note: certification is required for use of this machine without a trainer. Note: Power Plate first impression orientation required for use of this machine without a trainer.

Functional Training and Stretching The unique design of the Fitness Center offers more open space for functional movement and stretching. The new self-stretching area includes stretch tables and Technogym Posterior and Anterior flexibility machines for ample room and comfort to relax and stretch your well-deserving muscles. The assisted stretching area provides high/low stretch tables to provide personal training clients with more comfort and space when working with their trainers.

Technogym Kinesis Trainers The new technology in training will provide versatile training options when exercising under the supervision of one of our personal fitness instructors.

TRX Functional Trainers The Fitness Center now offers three areas of TRX training! Ceiling mounted TRX units are available for use with or without a personal trainer’s supervision. In addition, group TRX training is available in our studio on the upper level.
