2. Financial report (see handouts) Kathy Stiller Kathy discussed January and February financial reports. Expenses included field equipment, Meet the Jags Night and Membership Day. Deposits were Meet the Jags, spirit wear, concessions, Membership Day. Ending Balance for January - $29K Ending Balance for February - $26K 3. 2017 Key Dates (please see Varsity Schedule or Calendar at www.fmjagsbaseball.com) March 24 – FMYSA Night at The Mound April 3 – FMHS Baseball Booster Club Meeting April 7 – Military Appreciation Night at The Mound April 18 – Teacher Appreciation Night at The Mound April 28 – Senior Night at The Mound April 30 – Jaguar Baseball Banquet at Sneaky Pete’s at Lewisville Lake Travis discussed the upcoming events. Marie talked about Banquet and is looking for help with Registration. The banquet will be 4/30 at 5:00 pm. 4. Fundraising Update / Rangers Ticket Sales Fundraiser Antonelli/Jacobsen Discussed the Ranger ticket fundraiser and parent involvement with the players in the selling process; every player needs to sell 20 tickets. Tickets will be available the first week of the Ranger baseball season. Due date for all ticket sales to be completed is Friday, March 17.
5. Concessions Update Trista Abernethy Thanked everyone for volunteering thus far and talked about if you need to switch shifts to go into SignUp Genius. You don’t have to contact Trista. 6. Photography Update / Champion Sports Radio on NFHS Network Anderson/Jacobsen Pictures are being uploaded for all 3 teams. Will receive a code to login in NFHS this week to watch live varsity games; one code per membership family. 7. Coach’s Corner (Mound Showdown recap) Coach Wallace Tournament Recap: Freshman – After a coaches prep talk, they practiced hard and then went 5-0. JV – having a good start. Varsity – Showed a lot of grit and won the Mound Showdown through adversity. District play starts week of March 13 against Southlake. 8. Nominating Committee Selection Nominating Committee was named consisting of the following members: Senior – Debby Houser (chair of the Nominating Committee) Junior – Lewis Hornsby Sophomore – Chris May Freshman – Christy Clark, Scott Harwell
