Social Action Event Date: March 2, 2013 Time: 9:00 ‘til 12:00 Light breakfast 8—8:50
This year’s event not only offers a great learning opportunity but also offers you a way to help Trinity UMC’s Soup Kitchen. AARP of Cobb County will be onsite between 7:30 and 9:30 with a truck and shredder. Bring in papers that you want destroyed and they will shred them and the only cost is to bring items for Trinity UMC’s Soup Kitchen.
We have listed the things that are needed the most by Trinity UMC on the right. What a great way to clean out those old papers and help someone at the same time. The speakers for the day are: 1) Prison Ministry with Women, Rev. Kimberlyn Sinkfield of Calvary UMC; 2) Elder Abuse with Rev. Marshall Bryan of Lyerly UMC; and 3) Our Environment with Jake Miles Joseph of Grace UMC TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH 265 WASHINGTON ST. SW ATLANTA, GA 30303 404-659-6236
