Memory Passage If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10

In My Own Words

Over and Out Who’da Thunk? A recent survey indicates that Americans are not opposed to hearing someone talk to them about Jesus. As a matter of fact, some people are waiting for someone to tell them about Christ!

• A Christian is a follower of Christ. • To become a Christian you must believe in you heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. • When the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, you can trust Jesus as you personal Savior.

Think about the kids in your class. Do you know which classmates do not go to church anywhere? Are there kids who eat alone in the cafeteria most days? Do you know if those kids go to church? (Remember, just because a kid does go to church somewhere doesn’t mean he is a Christian. But if a kid isn’t going to church, he may have never heard about Jesus at all.) Make a list of three kids who might not be Christians. Pray for them by name. Ask God to give you an opportunity to talk to the kids you listed.
