Fold & Stitch Wreath
Wednesday, June 8th 10:30-2:30 or Saturday, June 11th 10:30-2:30 Taught by: Peggy Jeffrey Cost: $25.00 + pattern + supplies This pattern is one of the hottest new patterns in the quilting world right now. Come join Peggy as she teaches you how to make this fun project. Make a Summer wreath, or a Fall wreath, or a Christmas wreath, or a just plain fun wreath. Whatever theme you choose you will certainly be hooked on the process and the results. Peggy was able to take a class from the pattern designer so she has many tips to share with you. For the comfortable beginner and beyond.
Machine Quilting
Wednesdays June 15th, 22nd and 29th 1:00-4:30 Taught by: Professional Quilter Gretchen Adams Cost: $40/class These classes are designed to take you from beginner to confident machine quilter. Gretchen will guide you through the process of machine quilting and you will soon be creating in a way you never thought possible. A good working relationship with your sewing machine is necessary. Please make sure your machine is in good working order and has a new Denim size 80 or Topstitch size 80 or 90 needle, bobbins, a walking foot and a free motion foot for this class. Thursday Night Open Sew
Thursday, June 16th, 4:00 - 9:00 - sorry but there won’t be a class in July Cost: $5.00 Several people have asked about having an Open Sew time in the evening for those unfortunate people who haven’t been able to retire yet. So...at least for January through August we have scheduled Open Sew on the 3rd Thursday of the month. So grab your quilting buddies and plan an evening of fun quilting. Don’t forget to pack something for your dinner or perhaps you will want to order out. Please remember that Open Sew means that you are working on your own project and that no instructions will be provided.

Do you own several Deb Tucker tools? Have you forgotten how to use them? Diane will be doing a monthly class called Block Busters that will help you become reaquainted with your tools and the techniques for using them. All the blocks will finish at 12” so eventually you will be able to put them together as a quilt or tablerunners. You can use fabrics from your stash or perhaps new fabrics that coordinate. Either way this should be a fun time using the tools that most of you already own. For the beginner and beyond.

Christmas Keepsake BOM (Block of the Month)
Usually the 4th Thursday of the Month June 23rd 10:30-2:30 or 5:00-9:00 and July 28th 10:30-2:30 or 5:00-9:00 Total Cost: $127.73 (must be purchased prior to class) Christmas Keepsakes is a 6-month Block of the Month quilt designed by Jennifer Bosworth of Shabby Fabrics. This darling 36” x 36” quilt was sewn with Marcus fabrics and features appliqued blocks in classic Christmas shapes and colors. The pretty scalloped inner border and embellishments add the perfect finishing touch to this adorable holiday wall hanging. The last class will be in November so you should be able to finish before Christmas. There are 20 kits available so you can sign-up for the classes and work together on this project or you can purchase the kit and work on your own. For the beginner and beyond.

Come work with Joan and learn how to make these fun bags. The pattern has 5 different sizes and we should warn you that you will probably want to make them all! You should have a zipper foot for your machine for this class. Come and have some fun. For the beginner and beyond.
5th Saturday Bag Sale July 30th Calling all Bag Ladies and Gentlemen!! Don’t forget that there is a 5th Saturday in July. Please remember that your membership is non-transferrable. So please don’t embarrass your friends and us by asking to put their purchases in your name.
Row By Row 2016 Starts June 21st and runs through Sept. 6th All 50 States and Canada, too! So just what is this Row by Row thing? Well… it’s like a shop hop, but it’s not... no fees, no cards to stamp, and all summer to play! Simply visit any of the participating shops and receive a free pattern for a row in a quilt. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt that represents the fun you had traveling throughout the summer. Travel with friends, discover new quilt shops and have fun collecting rows! Create a quilt using at least 8 different 2016 rows from 8 different 2016 participating Row by Row shops and be the first to bring it into a participating shop to win a stack of 25 fat quarters (6-1/4 yards of fabric!). Use that shop’s row in your quilt and win a bonus prize! This year’s theme is “Home Sweet Home” and our row for the kit is pictured above.
