Fond du Lac Figure Skating Club Summer Ice Schedule 2017 This year you will be able to purchase a punch card for ice times. If you prepay for your ice, you get it at a discounted rate. FDL FS full club members** can purchase the ice for 10 punches = $75, or 20 punches = $125. Non-Blue Line members can purchase the ice for 10 punches = $120, or 20 punches = $175. We are again offering an unlimited package for FDL FS full club members. The price for unlimited ice will be $300. The unlimited ice pass is nontransferable. Please return the registration form (two pages) and payment: Blue Line Family Ice Center, Attn: Ryan Blick, 550 Fond du Lac Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI 54935. You will receive your punch card at the rink. If you choose not to purchase a punch card, all walk-on ice for Blue Line Member skaters will be $10.00 per hour. Walk-on ice for non-Blue Line members is $15 per hour. A session is approximately one hour long. Please make sure that you have your punch card with you, otherwise you will have to pay walk-on price. There will be no refunds given to unused punch cards. Skaters must sign in with the monitor and have their punch cards punched. Skaters will only be able to skate during the allotted times that are on the schedule. There will be no half hour sessions to purchase, sorry for the inconvenience. Twenty-two skaters will be allowed on the ice for each hour session. It will be a first come, first skate basis. After one hour, skaters will need to exit the ice and get their cards re-punched for the next hour. **FDL FS full club member is a person who gets his/her USFSA number through FDL FSC and was a full club member of Blue Line for the year 2016-2017. A Blue Line full club member did concession stand and sold raffle tickets.
We will need zamboni drivers and monitors for summer ice also. This summer we are able to offer VOLUNTEER hours for drivers and monitors OR your skater (one per family) can skate for free while you monitor or zam the ice. Please contact Deb Prellwitz if you are interested in helping out, [email protected] or 238-5949 ASAP. Please be specific to dates and times you are willing to zam or monitor. It is helpful if the times are consistent each week. In the schedule, we are offering the following classes from June 19 – August 26 (check calendar for exact dates): Mondays – Beginner Ice Dancing Class (Dance) - Skaters will learn the basic elements and beginning patters of ice dancing. The class is open to skaters who are new to ice dancing (must be in FS 1 or higher) and skaters who are currently working on their preliminary-pre bronze dances. Tuesdays – Intro to Synchro - Students will learn the basic foundations of synchro - skaters need to be Basic Skills 4 or higher. Learn to Skate - Snowplow Sam to Basic Skills 6 Wednesdays - Moves in the Field (Moves) - This will be an open practice session for skaters to work on their moves in the field while being guided by our Jr and Sr coaching staff. Appropriate for skaters FS 1 and above, Pre Preliminary - Sr. ***At least four skaters need to be registered for the class in order for the class to be held. Cancelled classes will not be rescheduled. The cost for one class taken (for example – Moves in the Field ) = $75, if a second class is taken in addition to the first, the cost is $50 for the second class. Please register for the class on the second sheet of the registration form.
