BLUE DEVIL CLUB
Recap on Year
The UW-Stout football season was once again filled with excitement on and off the field. On the field, the Blue Devils finished with 6 WIAC Conference Players of the Week, 5 All Conference Players, 3 All Region Players and one All American Player (Drew Pearson, SO, Kicker, Wausau West HS). The highlight of the season was beating arch rival UW-Eau Claire 30 – 7 at Don and Nona Williams Stadium to keep the War on I94 trophy in Menomonie. Off the field, our Blue Devil players were involved in over 500 hours of on campus and community services. They notched a cumulative GPA of 2.86 with a roster of 98 studentathletes. They used the contributions from last year’s Blue Devil Club to renovate their locker room and install 98 state of the art lockers. The team looks forward to their 2017 campaign with the return of one of their largest classes in school history with 25 seniors.
2017-18 Goal $15,000 Top Priorities Top priorities for money allocated to the football team are: 1. Completing payment of locker room project - $10,000 2. Team travel uniforms for players - $5,000
Thank You College football teaches many different skills needed to be successful in life. Your continued support will not only help us improve athletically but also help us grow as individuals to be productive members Nick Schulenburg of society. Football has given me so many Sr. - Linebacker different opportunities and for that, I am Fort Atkinson, WI truly thankful. Go Blue Devils!
