For Immediate Release Press Release Roaring ‘20s Female Bartender Inspires The Victoria Room’s New Summer Cocktail Menu London’s famous 1920s female bartender, Ada Coleman, is the inspiration behind The Victoria Room’s new summer cocktail menu, crafted by international drinks industry expert, Jason Crawley. “Over the years, The Victoria Room has been under the great tutelage of many female bartenders, so we've taken a few drinks from The Savoy Hotel’s celebrated female bartender, Ada Coleman,” said Crawley. Coleman’s signature, Hanky Panky is one such cocktail, which Crawley has cleverly adapted utilising the techniques garnered over the last two decades of the global cocktail renaissance. Served in a chilled coupette, The Victoria Room’s Barrel Aged Hanky Panky is made with Brokers Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Fernet Branca and a twist of orange. “We use lots of hidden back of house techniques which drive the best possible flavours onto the tastebuds of our guests,” added Crawley. The creative Englishman has deliberately given the menu a distinct feminine flavour, with Coconut Water Mojitos and Salted Caramel White Cargos made with Messina’s famed salted caramel gelato among the delectable new additions. “For over a decade, The Victoria Room has been a place for fine young ladies to congregate over High Tea, and we will continue to serve elegant, approachable cocktails – the very best drinks from the past and present,” said Crawley. The new cocktail bar menu is crowned by a weekly special, allowing the award-winning bar team to show off their knowledge of global drink trends and treat patrons to niche craft spirits and liqueurs.
