How to make coffee MAKE COFFEE at 8:15 am or earlier. Coffee machine should be plugged in. If not, plug in and wait about 20 min until water heated (gurgling stops). For each pot, wait for gurgling to stop. 1. Three (3) full scoops (1/4 cup measure, ¾ cup total) of coffee per pot

in paper filter. 2. Water up to line of oval shaped plastic pitcher. Do not overfill (pot could overflow) 3. Place correct pot on bottom left hot plate under filter funnel before adding water; coffee runs out instantly. 4. Pots labeled for flavored, brown for regular, orange for decaf. Turn on warming burner for full pot. Turn hot plate ON only when there is liquid in the pot. Turn hot plate OFF when pot is empty. Hot plate does not have to be ON when making a pot of coffee. 5. Make FIVE pots before first worship service (two each regular and flavored, one decaf). Make as needed later. 6. For normal 10:30 worship attendance, need only ONE air pot with each type of coffee. Do not make too much coffee! Plug hot water pot into kitchen island outlet only (not in Paine Hall). Put hot water into one of the black air pots and set out a basket of tea bags

For Large Kitchen Pots Small 30 – 35 cups: 1 cup of coffee grounds Large 150 cups: 5 cups of coffee grounds Large 100 cups: 4+ cups of coffee grounds Please note these pots take about an hour to brew.
