PUBLIC NOTICE BOX ELDER COUNTY 2016 NOTICE OF ELECTION According to the provisions of Utah code 20A-5-101, I, Marla R. Young, Box Elder County Clerk, do submit for publication the following election documents: Notice is given to qualified persons residing within Box Elder County that the Primary Election is to be held June 28, 2016 from 7:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Notice is given of the Early Voting times and locations. Notice is given as to the location of the polling places within Box Elder County for the Primary Election.
EARLY VOTING Box Elder County early voting times and locations are listed below. All qualified voters will be required to show a valid form of identification in order to vote. Box Elder County Clerk's Office 01 South Main Street Brigham City, Utah June 14-24, 2016 M-F 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tremonton City Senior Center 510 West 1000 North Tremonton, Utah June 21-23, 2016 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Notice is given of a sample ballot for the Box Elder County Primary Election. Notice is given of the election audit required by the Lieutenant Governor’s Election Policy. The Audit will be conducted during normal business hours in the County Courthouse 01 South Main Street #10 Brigham City, UT beginning Friday July 01, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. and continuing until completed. Anyone desiring to witness the audit is invited to attend. Notice is given that on July 12, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Box Elder County Courthouse 01 South Main Brigham City, Utah the Box Elder County Board of Canvassers will meet to canvass the returns and declare the results of the election.
QUALIFICATIONS TO VOTE U.S. Citizen, resident of the State of Utah for over 30 days preceding election, 18 years of age by June 28, 2016, and registered to vote in Box Elder County.

Certification of Ballot Counting Equipment Box Elder County will publicly conduct a logic and accuracy test and demonstration of the automatic tabulating equipment that will be used to count the ballots for the Primary Election to be held June 28, 2016. The demonstration and test will be conducted June 10, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. in room #10 of the County Courthouse 01 South Main Street Brigham City, UT. The test and demonstration is open to the public in accordance with Utah Code 20A-4-104 and 20A-3-201.
