For the week of March 24, 2013 Scripture: Matthew 21:1-17 “What Made Jesus Angry? Part 3” Big Idea: Social injustice made Jesus angry. Christians are called to bring justice to the world. 1. Describe what it might have been like to be part of the crowd who shouted “Hosanna” on Palm Sunday as they ushered Jesus into Jerusalem:

2. Do you think Jesus’ anger in the Temple that day surprised people? How would you have reacted if you were in the Temple courts that day?

3. How does it make you feel when you hear stories of those who have been taken advantage of by a person, an institution, a company, or a church?

7. Read Isaiah 1:12-20 What are some ways in which we can seek justice, correct oppression, bring justice to the fatherless, and plead the widow’s cause?
