Foundation Paper Piecing Taught by Karen O’Grady In this introduction to Foundation Paper Piecing, you will get to choose between a few different patterns. Pick out one large piece or a couple of smaller ones to complete in the allotted class time! Supplies:  BK: Paper Piecing with Alex Anderson 2nd Edition. PFC#162258  Sewing Machine in good working order o New Needle (Microtex Sharps 70/10 – PFC# 65529)  Basic sewing notions (scissors, needles, seam ripper, etc.)  Ruler – 2 or 3 ½ inch square or larger  Rotary cutting mat  Rotary cutter with new blade  Fabric Glue Stick  ½ yard Quilters Cotton for Backgrounds (or 2 – ¼ yard cuts)  5-7 Colors/Prints in Coordinating: o Fat Quarters, 1/8 yard cuts or scraps  Quality quilting thread Amounts needed for bindings and backings can be discussed in class!
