FOX SPORTS’ 2017 USGA CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON BEGINS WITH 117TH U.S. OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP FROM ERIN HILLS More Than 140 Hours of Live Television Coverage Scheduled Across Eight USGA Championships Season Concludes with Network’s Inaugural Presentation of Walker Cup Match New York – FOX Sports announces its 2017 United States Golf Association television schedule, featuring more than 140 hours of live coverage across eight championships, beginning with the 117th U.S. Open Championship from Erin Hills in Erin, Wis., and concluding with the 46th Walker Cup Match from Los Angeles Country Club in Los Angeles. Live coverage from the U.S. Open Championship begins Wednesday, June 14 at 9:30 AM ET on FS1, with WEDNESDAY AT THE U.S. OPEN, kicking off more than 45 hours of live golf action across FS1, the FOX broadcast network and FOX Deportes, in addition to continuous live-streaming throughout the championship on FOX Sports GO. Competition officially begins on FS1 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET on Thursday and Friday, June 15-16, before shifting to FOX from 6:00 to 9:00 PM ET. Third-round action on Saturday, June 17 airs from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET on FOX and from 5:00 to 8:00 PM ET on FOX Deportes. A champion is crowned following the final round on Sunday, June 18, from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM ET on FOX and from 5:30 to 8:30 PM ET on FOX Deportes. FOX Sports continues its presentation of the nation’s premier golf championships with over 20 hours of live coverage from the 38th U.S. Senior Open Championship from historic Salem Country Club in Peabody, Mass., Thursday, June 29 through Sunday, July 2, and the 72nd U.S. Women’s Open Championship from Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., Thursday, July 13 through Sunday, July 16. Following the USGA’s major championships, FOX Sports provides live coverage from four USGA amateur championships: the 70th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, July 20-22; the 69th U.S. Girls’ Junior Championship, July 27-29; the 117th U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, Aug. 9-13; and the 117th U.S. Amateur Championship, Aug. 16-20. FOX Sports’ 2017 USGA championship season coverage concludes with the 46th Walker Cup Match, a biannual team competition fielding the best amateur competitors from the U.S. against Great Britain and Ireland. This year, the Walker Cup is contested at Los Angeles Country Club on FS1 on Saturday, Sept. 9 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM ET and from 5:00 to 8:00 PM ET, and Sunday, Sept. 10 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM ET and 6:00 to 9:00 PM ET.
