Row 16: K7, P4, (K4, P4) across to last 7 sts, K7.

Finished Size: 45" x 60"

Repeat Rows 6-17 for pattern until Afghan measures approximately 58" from cast on edge, ending by working Row 16.

Row 17: Knit across.

MATERIALS Worsted Weight Yarn: 33 ounces, (940 grams, 2,075 yards) 29" Circular knitting needles, size 17 (12.75 mm) or  size needed for gauge Note: Afghan is worked holding two strands of yarn  together.

Last 6 Rows: Knit across. Bind off all sts.

RIGHT TWIST A RIGHT TWIST (abbreviated RT) RIGHT TWIS (uses 2 sts) Knit second stitch on left needle (Fig. 1a) making sure not to drop off, then purl the first stitch (Fig. 1b) letting both stitches drop off left needle together.

GAUGE: In Stockinette Stitch, 9 sts and 12 rows = 4"

STITCH GUIDE RIGHT TWIST (abbreviated RT) (uses 2 sts) Knit second stitch on left needle making sure not to drop off, then purl the first stitch letting both stitches drop off left needle together (Figs. 1a & b). LEFT TWIST (abbreviated LT)  (uses 2 sts) Working behind first stitch on left needle, purl into the back of second stitch making sure not to drop off, then knit the first stitch letting both stitches drop off left needle together (Figs. 2a & b).

Cast on 98 sts.

Working behind first stitch on left needle, purl into the back of second stitch (Fig. 2a) making sure not to drop off, then knit the first stitch (Fig. 2b) letting both stitches drop off left needle together.
