Frances Tulibaski, 91, of Rochester, MN, formerly of Argyle, MN, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Madonna Towers in Rochester, MN. She was born on December 9, 1926 in Orleans, MN, the daughter of Basil and Mary Kropelnicki. Frances attended country school in Kittson County. On October 18, 1945, she was united in marriage to Dennis Tulibaski at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hallock, MN. (Dennis passed away on May 25, 2011). They made their home east of Argyle where they farmed. Later, she worked at Rivard’s Quality Seeds, the Argyle Co-op and the Argyle Building Center, providing cleaning services. Frances was a past member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and when it closed she became a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. She was an excellent cook, baker and was famous for her “pedrogies” and “Ukrainian cabbage rolls”. She enjoyed doing embroidery, and later in retirement, quilting and playing bingo became her favorite past-times. Frances was proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed seeing them when occasions arose. Left to mourn her passing are her four children; Mary Ann (Dennis) Kaufhold of Shoreview, MN, Judy (Gary) Dallager of White Bear Lake, MN, Stephen (Marlene) Tulibaski of Pennock, MN and Roger (Vicki) Tulibaski of Argyle, MN; twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren: Brett (Heather) Kaufhold, Evan and Preston; Chris Dallager; Jeff (Emily) Dallager, Elizabeth, Luke, Greta and Kate; Darren Tulibaski; Jodi (Neil) Bryant and Madeline; Sarah (Nate) Malchow, Macie, Jake, Cole and Katie; Ben (Cindy) Tulibaski and Ross; Molly (Nate) Koewler, Olivia and William; Stephanie (Anthony) Holwerda and Audrey; Brian (Kate) Tulibaski and Brooks; Michelle (Kyle) Gregoire, Adrianna, Bennet and Gabriella; and Jessica (Beau) L'Heureux, Devin and Kiley. Frances is also survived by six brothers: John, Alex, William, Earl, Raymond and Louis; and two sisters: Lucy Isakson and Irene Brandenburg and many nieces and nephews. Frances was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Steve, Matt, Mike, Peter, Myron, Felix, Nick, Joseph, Carl, and Paul; sisters: Helen Trader and Kathryn Dallager; and an infant grandson.
