Free Throw Shoot A Thon Player Instructions: 1)Each player should arrive 10 minutes prior to their shooting time. 2)Each player needs to bring their Shoot A Thon Pledge Packet to the Check In Table. They will sign in and receive a sheet to attach to their packet. 3)After signing in, each player will proceed to their assigned goal, give their packet to the volunteer recorder, and follow the instructions the recorder gives them. 4)After completing free throw shots, each player will collect their packets and take it to the Tally Table where their donations will be totaled and recorded. 5)Each player will then be given their packets back with total amounts to collect from their sponsors. All monies should be turned in to the Coach or Team Parent by Friday April 17th. Winners of the Shoot A Thon will be announced on Monday, April 20th and posted to the Upstate Warriors Website (Note: Coaches and Team Parents are responsible for collecting Packets from each player and turning it in to Quentin or Daisy Thompson).

(Be sure to fill in players name on info sheet) 3) Instruct player to proceed to assigned goal and to give packet to the volunteer recorder at the goal

Tally Table Instructions 1) After shooting all their free throws, each player will bring their packet to the tally table 2) Complete and keep the 4X6 info paper 3) Tally up the amount to collect from each sponsor on the envelope (Calculators will be available.) 4) Tally the total amount to be collected by each player and record it on the envelope and info paper 5) Congratulate player on a job well done; hand them their packet and instruct them to collect their donations, turn them in to Coach or team parent by Friday, April 17th. ***Note: Money can only be turned in the day of the Shoot A Thon if all money has already been collected (generally for those who had flat donations). In this case take the entire envelope and verify that their name and team name is visible. Attach info sheet and turn into Daisy Thompson.****

Free Throw Recorder Instructions 1) Once you arrive, proceed to one of the basketball goals with a pen. (Will be available at check in.) 2) Collect the envelopes from each player at your goal. 3) Provide instructions for how the free throws will be shot. a.(If you have 3 people at your goal) Each person will take 30 free throw shots at a time. The other two will rebound and pass the basketballs to the shooter. Switch off every 30 shots. b. (If you have 4 people at your goal) 2 players will alternate every 10 shots from the free throw line. Other two will rebound the basketballs. Switch off once players have shot 30 shots. c. (If you have 5 at your goal) 2 players will alternate every 10 shots. Two players will rebound and the fifth will help record free throws made. 4) Record all shots. Place a line through made baskets. 4) After each player finishes 100 free throws, total # of baskets made, complete the attached 4X6 sheet and send the player to the tally table. BE SURE TO BE ENCOURAGING AS THE PLAYERS ARE SHOOTING. HAVE FUN WITH THEM.
