Frequently Asked Questions How does IDW products work, and why doesn’t it scratch the paint on my car? The dirt is dissolved and encapsulated by the particular polymer and then it gently lifts and absorbs the dirt before it can scratch the paint. The encapsulated dirt is then picked up by the microfiber towels fibers. The polymers (nano & carnauba etc.) penetrates into the paint, sealing the base materials and then seals the surface. The paint will be water-repellent and shiny and get antistatic properties. The car is therefore cleaner and shinier over time while using the IDW products.
What kind of towels should I use? You should only use our microfiber towel with high quality (our professional towels are 40 x 40 cm and 380 gram). The microfiber towel picks up the dirt and lifts it safely of the cars paint. We recommend that you use two towels per wash, one to remove the dirt and the next one to polish the car. You may need more than two towles if the car is very dirty or wet. The IDW towels are only used by professionals and they absorb a lot of water and it has a thicker and softer fabric than ordinary towels.
How many cars can I wash with IDW producs? Our bottle of 100 ml concentrate mixed into 900 ml of water and that is enough to wash 8-10 cars. Of course it depends how big and dirty the car is, but on average, we estimate that 100 ml of the ready mixed product is enough for one car. Regular use will make it easier to wash the car, and consumption will be less and the surface becomes shinier, each wash will built a protective layer on the paint.
Can I wash the microfiber towels? Yes! The towels can be washed by hand or in a machine on low temperature 40 degrees Celsius. Do not use any fabric softener that destroys the towel. You can wash the towel many times without destorying the quality of the towel.
Can IDW products be used in all weather? Yes! It is one of our products advantages. You can quickly get your car clean and shiny anywhere, at any time with a bottle of Nano & carnauba or ultrashine and two microfiber towels. When used in direct sunlight, you need to spray a little extra on the microfiber towel so that it is slightly damp. This prevents fast drying due to the car body’s own heat.
Can IDW products be used on a wet surface? Yes! All products are water based and contain no hazardous substances. This makes it possible to effectively clean and polish even wet surfaces. Just remember to use more microfiber towels so that all the water is absorbed, then you can polish the car so that it really shines.
