2013 CHARITY G LF DAY EVENT OVERVIEW
For over 35 years, ONE80TC has given young people who struggle with life-controlling issues, a second chance at life. The program aims to eliminate selfdestructive habits by meeting the needs of the whole person… not only dealing with the addiction, but also rebuilding their self-image, work ethic and relationships. All proceeds raised from the day will go towards ONE80TC and help rescue men like Christian, restore his life and rebuild his family.

I lived at a refuge at Kings Cross for a year where I met my first girlfriend who at 15, and only one year older than me, become pregnant and then lost the baby. I was smoking marijuana and drinking every day. Graffiti painting and vandalism became my way of life. It was my second girlfriend who introduced me to speed and ecstasy. I was also drinking heavily and committing crime. I couldn’t hold down a job and was in and out of the court system.
Format 7:00am Registration & Breakfast 7:30am $10K Putting Comp 8:30am S hotgun start, followed by networking drinks, sit down buffet bbq lunch, auction and presentation. On arrival all players will be provided with a bag drop-off service to their allocated golf carts for the day.
I got into serious trouble at a party one night and ended up with charges of assault resulting in a 12 months sentence. My brother told me about ONE80TC and after an appeal was lodged, I received a suspended sentence on condition that I completed the ONE80TC program. Thanks to ONE80TC, my whole situation turned around… and so has my life. My dreams are getting bigger and I have a purpose and a future to look forward to. Christian Volpi Ex-Student
