School Uniform We strongly recommend that all children wear school uniform as it gives a sense of belonging to our school: Knitwear - Navy blue Trousers, skirts or pinafore dresses Grey, black or navy blue Shirts or blouses -White Tie - Blue and red Footwear – Black. All items of clothing and footwear should be clearly marked with the child’s name and class number.
Attendance The class this week with the best attendance is Tigers with 99.2%! The class with the best attendance so far this year is Lions with 97.7%. The overall attendance for the whole school from September stands at 95.5%. This week’s attendance is 95%. Well done to the 274 children who achieved 100% attendance this week, 72 of these children have 100% attendance since September. And finally, congratulations to Brogan Taylor-Barwell from Meerkats who is our weekly attendance winner! Autism Coffee Morning A coffee morning has been planned for parents of children with an Autism diagnosis. It will take place at Brooke th Primary School on Thursday 10 December, 9.30 – 11.00 am. th

The Governing Body does not allow the following for safety reasons: Jewellery or body piercings of any description. This includes beads woven or threaded into the hair. Trainers with wheels In addition nail varnish should not be worn. PE Kit For Physical Education the following items of clothing are required: One pair of blue/ black shorts Plain white T-shirt One pair of outdoor pumps or trainers Suitable clothing for outdoor games. If a change of clothing is not supplied, children will still take part in all activities and wear a spare kit available from school. Staff Changes At the end of this term Mrs Billam will be leaving us for pastures new. We wish Mrs Billam the very best for the future. In January, Miss Richardson will be joining us to take over the teaching in Panda class. Mrs Saxelby will also be leaving us at the end of this term to go on maternity leave. We would all like to send Mrs Saxelby and her family our very best wishes at this exciting time. Mrs Dixon will be joining us in January to cover this maternity leave until the end of the school year.
