Following the success of our 25th Anniversary runs, Ysgol Pen Y Bryn in association with Colwyn Bay Athletics Club and Tony Earley Wealth Management, are proud present the fourth annual PEN Y BRYN 5K - a scenic 5km road run from the school grounds to Bryn Y Maen and back. Our previous races have been started by former pupils Dion Jones (Wales u20 rugby player) and Sara Millband, and sponsor Tony Earley.
Featuring a children’s 1k fun run (with optional fancy dress!) - 6.15pm start (£3.00 entry) Fully marshalled course around the outskirts of the school. Main feature: 5 kilometre road race from Ysgol Pen Y Bryn to Bryn Y Maen and back 7pm start (Minimum age 14 on day of race) (£7 entry)
Refreshments and changing facilities available at school. Medal for all finishers. Fully marshalled courses – please take care on country roads. No headphones to be worn. Number must be picked up from Race HQ (School Office) on race day. Entries close 15 minutes before race starts on Friday 8th July. Anybody wishing to volunteer as a marshal or helper should contact the Race Secretary at school.
