Introduction Thank you for considering sponsorship of the Friendswood Youth Lacrosse League (FYLAX) program or one of our many events.
There are several ways to support our organization: ● Sponsor the league ● Offer our league members a discount on merchandise or services ● Donate products/services to the league to be raffled off at home games

Over 150 players K – 8th grade boys (12-16 per team) and 2nd – 8th grade girls (12-16 per team)
Mission
FYLAX Mission Statement 2017 - 2018 The mission of the FYLAX organization is to provide K – 8th grade boys and girls the opportunity to learn and experience the game of lacrosse in a safe and encouraging environment. FYLAX is committed to uphold the core values and culture of the game by emphasizing game fundamentals, self-discipline and improvement, respect and support for the team, and scholastic integrity.
Major League Activities
-Participate in 1-2 tournaments in Texas each season -Play 10-12 regular season games on Saturday or Sundays only -No cuts - All players who register are placed on a team -Run multiple special clinics for new players and current players -Conduct Lacrosse ‘101’ programs for parents and those new to the game -Host special events for PE teachers in surrounding areas that do not currently have lacrosse programs -Host multiple tournaments and championship games in the future

Other Information FYLAX is a member of Greater Houston Youth LAX (GHYLA) The mission of the GHYLA is to organize, develop, and promote middle and elementary school lacrosse in the Greater Houston area, and to honor the game by instilling the values of scholastic achievement, sportsmanship, and individual development. FYLAX adopts all rules, policies and procedures of GHYLA. GHYLA consists of teams from the following organizations: Clear Lake (BAYLAX), Cy-Fair, Friendswood, HYLAX, Katy, Kingwood, Klein, Lobo Lacrosse, Magnolia, Pearland, Pin Oak, Pershing, Richmond, Sienna, Spring Branch-Memorial and Woodlands.
FYLAX is a member of Greater Houston Girls Youth LAX (GHGYLA) GHGYLA consists of teams from: Friendswood, Woodlands, Kingwood, Pearland, Sienna Plantation, Pershing, Katy and Bay Area Storm.
FYLAX is granted tax-exempt status FYLAX is granted tax-exempt status as a 501(c)(3) organization. FYLAX received designation as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code therefore contributions to FYLAX are tax deductible under section 170 of the Code. FYLAX is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under section 2055, 2016, or 2522 of the Code. Please contact the FYLAX treasurer if you wish to make any donations.
