Key Words Front-Loading, Network HILs, Vehicle Test Scenario, Cross-system Control Function, Validation, Virtual Field Driving Research and/or Engineering Questions/Objective Recently, various vehicle trim and the comfortable function according to the customer needs are constantly growing. Especially, the diversity of electronic/control system depends on ADAS and autonomous vehicle increase the complexity of function in ECU networks. Accordingly, this the needs of customer and numbers ECUs with the various suppliers bring up the work load of Test/Validation in the vehicle development process. And the major issue is that the detection of a defect in the late process is the most important influence to the expense and period of vehicle development process. Therefore, it is required t to solve the problem in the first stage of development by the work load which are possible move to the front process, the repeatable test convert to the automation and make the condition of vehicle level operation or the virtual filed driving. Methodology In this paper, two test scenario strategies are proposed 1. Integrated vehicle test scenario which is considered with the certification and the regulation test 2. Consideration the cross-system control based on the analysis function with 86 ECUs Results The proposed test scenario in vehicle level was verified by the simulation of the powertrain-chassis plant model. The control logic of SCC (Smart Cruise Control), ESC (Electric Stability Control) and MDPS (MotorDriven Power Steering) are applied. Limitations of this study This research demonstrated only about Hyundai Genesis. And iIt is not applied all vehicle. What does the paper offer that is new in the field including in comparison to other work by the authors? This paper proposed that how to catch the defect in early phase of the development process. Conclusions About 75 scenarios are proposed for the validation of numbers ECUs.
