Installation scenario tinted glass on vehicles seen gaining popularity among drivers and motorists though it is an offense under the motor vehicle rules (prohibition of certain types of glass) 1991 enforced by the department of road transport malaysia. generally any vehicle that does not comply with tinted windows light the level of transparency is a violation of this provision. However, there are exceptions where this dark mirror assembly to approve certain persons as provided under the rules of motor vehicles (prohibition of certain types of glass) 1991. while for those who have health problems and the skin that is exposed to security threats can apply for a special exemption for the installation of tinted glass. the approval of the use of tinted glass is a year and should be renewed. Tinted glass measure allowed under the provisions of the law in accordance with the provisions of Rule 5 (1) and 5 (2) of the motor vehicle rules (prohibition of certain types of glass) 1991. based on this provision, the level of transparency for the light vehicle windshield (wind screen) should be above 70% while the side mirrors and side and rear of

the vehicle must exceed 50%. there are exceptions in which this provision does not apply to the 20% elongated upper windscreen of the vehicle and on the side windows of all types of buses or caravans except for the window to the left or right of the driver.
