THREE EXCELLENT METHODS 1. Get reviews from Repeat Buyers (who love your product) 2. Send follow-up emails that elicit a response, and then get reviews from those who love the product. 3. Launch products through charities at full price, donating the profits and getting reviews from the buyers.
1. THE REPEAT BUYER METHOD • They like your product for sure • They already know your Brand • They probably already know you are not Amazon, but someone selling on Amazon. • They are the most likely of all buyers to leave a good product review.
HOW TO FIND YOUR REPEAT BUYERS • HARD: Download Seller Central Fulfillment reports for each month, combine them into one file and sort them by name and address to find repeat buyers.
• EASY: Use ManageByStats. • Go to Customers / Repeat Buyers to see the list • Go to Customers / Generate Report and generate a CSV file of Repeat Buyers

HOW TO SEND THESE EMAILS • Any good email system can be used to send these emails, but be aware of the rules and start slowly so you don’t get shut down by spam complaints. SendGrid.com is an excellent email system.
• If you have ManageByStats, use the built-in SellerBlast tool. • Build lists: Filter by product, brand and date range • Build messages: Make your own or use one of the templates • Schedule campaigns: Send now or later. Use single-use coupons
2. THE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL METHOD 1. You should be using an automated email follow-up system. Most sellers use ChannelAdvisor, SalesBacker, FeedbackFive, FeedbackGenius, FeedbackExpress or the ManageByStats SellerMail. 2. Ask for Feedback, not Product Reviews • Direct negative feedback to ${contact-link} or ${feedback-link}, so you can handle it before it becomes a negative product review. • Direct positive feedback to ${product-review-link}, so happy customers leave you great Product Reviews.
3. Stop sending them automated emails as soon as they answer you or leave feedback.
THE FOLLOW-UP EMAIL METHOD … CONTINUED 4. Use single-use coupons in your follow-up emails if possible, to create goodwill, drive more sales and reward your customers for buying from you. 5. Include one very short email that buyers can easily answer from their phone. Like “Your Amazon order is marked as delivered. Did you receive it?” This can drastically improve your response rate from buyers.
3. THE CHARITY PRODUCT-LAUNCH METHOD You can launch a product (or boost it or drive reviews) by helping a Charity. The Charity wants to raise money The Charity has an email list of supporters who will donate You have an excellent product The Charity offers your product to its list of supporters at full price, saying that 40% of the price (the entire profit) will go to the Charity. You get a lot of full-price sales, it costs you nothing, and you get a ranking boost and more reviews.
