1 Land of Whimzie® So Tweet Jelly Land of Whimzie® So Tweet fabrics: 1 yd Multi Paisley 1 yd Pink Tonal Dot 1 yd White Birdies Coordinating Thread Rotary cutter & mat Acrylic ruler Scissors Basic sewing supplies Sewing machine Iron & pressing surface Spring loaded scissors (optional)

Instructions Read all instructions before beginning project. Do not pre-wash fabrics. Press fabrics with a dry iron on cotton setting before cutting. Do not use selvages. Use ½" seams and sew with right sides together (RST) unless otherwise noted. Note: Quilt will be sewn together using a “quilt as you go" technique. Front and Back will be sewn together from top to bottom, adding in the Jelly Strips which will be clipped to make the fringe. 1. Cut the following pieces from the yardage: White Multi Paisley: 4 - 8 ½" x 42" White Birdies: 4 - 8 ½" x 42" Pink Tonal Dot: 4 - 6 ½" x 42" 2 - 4 ½" x 42" Trim ends of Jelly strips to be 42". Care instructions: Wash the finished quilt in warm water and tumble dry to fray the quilt. The more it is washed the softer it will become. Be sure to empty the dryer filter often.

3. Sew the first two Quilt Front strips RST to make Row 1 using a ¼" seam allowance. Press seam to one side. Repeat with Rows 5 and 6, and the two bottom strips to make Row 10 and return sewn strips to the layout (Dia. B). Dia. B

5. Layer Row 1, folded Jelly strip and Row 2 as shown. Align cut edges on sides and top; stitch using ½" seam allowance. Backstitch at the beginning and end of each row. The fringed seams will be on the front of the quilt (Dia. D). Dia. D Fold

6. Press from the back side so the seam fringe on the front is toward Row 1. Press folded Jelly flange toward Row 2 and stitch through all layers next to the fold of the Jelly strip (Dia. E). Dia. E Row 1

Project Instructions Continued 7. Continue in the same manner sewing each additional row with a folded Jelly strip in between for the fringe. Sew each Jelly down from the back after it has been added. Follow Diagram F for Jelly strip order. There will be two Jelly strips left over. Dia. F Strip 1

8. Sew ½" from edge around top, bottom and sides of the finished quilt. Use sharp scissors to carefully make 3∕8" clips along each seam, ½" apart. Note: Carefully cut to but not through the seams. When finished, clip around the outside edge of the quilt.
